Propagated on Pomelo, Sour Roots—A strong, vigorous grower, thorny. Crop increases materially with age. Fruit oval, with prominent point, skin j thin, of strong texture, giving it high rank as a keeping and ship- ping variety. Abundantly juicy, strongly acid, of fine flavor. This variety, among a great many other of our best citrus fruits, was imported by Gen. Sanford many years ago. It was quite extensively grown in California and the growers discovered its true merits.
