Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, Peru. The Ayapua moored at PV1 (Guard post 1) Samiria, near the confluence of the Samiria and Marañon rivers. The Ayapua is a restored rubber-boom epic vessel. She was built in Hamburg, Germany in 1906 and worked the rubber boom trade in Brasil and Peru in the early part of the 20th century.
