Air Force members assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan give candy and greet displaced people in Palu, Indonesia Oct. 10, 2018. Pilots, aircrew and security forces members from the 374th Airlift Wing and 36th AS have flown up to three sorties daily to ensure humanitarian supplies reach thousands. In support of USAID’s response efforts, more than 543,373 lbs. have been transported on aircraft, 255 passengers and approximately 47 displaced people from Palu.
