Rub on well and roll up. By keeping back of knife close to hide and drawing firmly with the left, cutting or scoring will be prevented. Lastly I must say a word about manure, a by-product of the dairy of the greatest economic import- ance ; a thing too often treated carelessly, with consequent finan- cial loss.
