The young River Annas cascades across the lower reaches of Corney Fell in the West of Cumbria as it heads for Bootle and the Irish Sea. It was a pretty bleak day, but this area which is steeped in Archaeology is almost always enticing to photograph in a barran, wild but still beutiful way. This shot was taken tripod mounted using a Lee Big Stopper (10 Stop ND) plus a Lee ND Soft Grad to hold the sky back a bit and keep some of that wildness about the scene which is evident when you stand there.
