Water-based sports and activities are popular at Punta Cana beach on the Dominican Republic's Atlantic coast. Among the more unusual (and possibly more dangerous) activities is a flight in this flying dinghy - basically a pair of wings and a propeller attached to a rigid inflatable boat. The pilot sits at the front and steers the aircraft in the same way as they would a hang-glider, by pulling on the frame connecting the boat to the wings.
