. Eastern states endangered plants . Virginia Round-leaf Birch Betula uber Description: Small dark-barked tree, 6-8 meters (18-24 ft.) high. The glabrous leaves are broadly rounded at both ends with coarsely dentate margins. The samaras are broadly cuneate (wedge shaped), the wings broadened upward and narrow.
