NASA Deep Space antenna which will send the signal to make Rosetta crash into the comet on September 30 2016

After a journey of years Rosetta, the incredibly successful ESA spacecraft, will gently crash into a pitted area of comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko or 67P and stop transmitting. In the morning of 30 September, the final set of commands will be transmitted via NASA’s 70m deep-space dish at Madrid. Rosetta has been orbiting the comet for over 2 years and has gathered a phenomenal amount of valuable data.
