GULF OF ADEN (Feb. 28, 2011) An MK-38 25mm gun system is fired during a live-fire exercise aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87). Mason is deployed as part of the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group and assigned to Combined Task Force 151, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
