Proboscis liilly developecl ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching to vertex of liead aud fringed with scales in front, the 3rd moderate ; frons smooth ; eyes large, rounded ; anteunte of male ciliated ; build slender ; head and tiiorax clothed with scales; the pruthfiras with spreading crest; the metalliorax without crest; tibite modenitely fringed with hair; abdomen elongate, slender, without crests. Fore wing elongate, ratiier narrow, the termen evenly rounded ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; the areole rather large, vein 6 from it; '.t from 10 anastomosing witli 8 ; 11 from cell.
