Alek Wilson, with the 1437th Engineer Company, Michigan Army National Guard, drives a Latvian Land Forces BV206 tracked vehicle Oct. 2, 2014, in Ogre, Latvia, while training with Latvian military engineers as part of Atlantic Resolve. Europe-based Army units were deployed to Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia to conduct bilateral military exercises and reinforce NATO security commitments to the host nations. The Michigan Army National Guard sent personnel to Latvia under the State Partnership Program.
