Six male dancers watching two dancers, 1 man balancing one arm torso man lying pavement, Allianz Building, Pariser Platz, Berlin

Pariser Platz is a square, in front of the Brandenburg Gate, at the end of the Unter den Linden Boulevard, in Central Berlin. The square is named after the French capital and commemorates the entry of Paris by the Allies (Prussia, Russia and Great Britain) in 1814 and the overthrow of Napoleon. During World War 2 the buildings round and about were reduced to rubble by Allied air raids and artillery bombardment, the only structure left standing being the heavily damaged Brandenburg Gate. Many street performers are to be seen here, including this acrobatic dance group.
