Psoriasis on the back after treatment. Psoriasis on the skin of the back of a patient before treatment with UVB light. Psoriasis is caused by excessive skin production resulting in red scaly patches and inflammation. The treatment here resulted in a reduction of the PASI (Psoriasis Area and Severity Index) score by 75 percent (PASI 75). For a sequence showing the treatment, see images C014/2541 to C014/2543.
