The field goal, held by Brian Hampton (3), gave the Midshipmen the win over the Falcons 27-24 at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. The victory gives Navy (2-2) a good opportunity to retain the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, awarded to the team with the best record in games between the three major service academies.
