Alice's Garden, sponsored by Houndshill's Shopping Centre, is a large 30m (100ft) display featuring a magical water garden, 2m (8ft) bridge and scenes from 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', published by Lewis Carroll in 1865. Here we see Alice getting advice from a caterpillar sitting on a mushroom and smoking a hookah ('hubbly bubbly pipe'), three living playing cards painting a red rose tree, and Mad Hatter's Tea Party. The water garden with blue LED lights is in the foreground of the shot. Alice' Garden replaces an original Alice Tableau, badly damaged by a storm in 2010.
