Birth and Birthplace of Walton TZAAK WALTON was born on August 9, 1593, in the parish of St. Mary in the town of Stafford. His baptism is recorded in the register of the same parish as follows: "1593, Septemb. Baptiz. fuii Isaac Filiiis Jervis Walton, 21° die mensis et anni prcedict!' Of his father, Jervis Walton, little is known. " Of his wife " (meaning Walton's mother) " not even the name has been discovered.'.
