MAYAPO, Colombia (March 25, 2017) - Lt. Cmdr. Nicholas Sweet, a native of Grenada, Miss., assigned to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, , performs an ultrasound on a host nation patient at the Continuing Promise 2017 (CP-17) medical site in Mayapo, Colombia. CP-17 is a Southern Command-sponsored and Naval Forces Southern 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian assistance, training engagements, and medical, dental, and veterinary support in an effort to show support and commitment to Central and South America.
