Retired Army Chief Warrant officer 4 Charles Booker, bandmaster for 5th Army Band from 1972-1976, leads “Fort Sam’s Own” 323d Army Band and 313th Army Band, a Army Reserve band during an Independence Day concert held at The Alamo, July 2, 2021. Booker was spontaneously asked to lead the concert during the last song, “Stars and Stripes Forever.”
