Music from the 25th Infantry Division Tropic Lightning Band welcomes guests to a Flying "V" Ceremony for the installation of Col. Joel "JB" Vowell as the Division's Deputy Commander for Operations, on July 6, 2018, at the General's Loop on Schofield Barrack, Hawaii. The Flying V Ceremony traditionally welcomes or honors senior Army officials when they assume duties, depart or retire from an Army Command. The term "Flying V" refers to the way the colors are posted during the ceremony, which is V shaped.
