C A bud-gall caused by a dipteron. This gall is known to me from Java, but not yet described. The bunch in the axilla of the leaves develop into ball-shaped or fusiform swellings of a dark green colour. Inside there is a wide larval chamber tenanted by the white larva of a dipteron.
