A large German silver memorial display platter, Emperor Charles V's entry into Augsburg for the 1548 Reichstag 2nd half of the 19th century Chased platter embossed in high relief with a figure staffage in front of house scenery. The floral decorated border displays a double-headed eagle as the imperial coat of arms and the double coat of arms for the city of Augsburg. A "930" hallmark, an eagle mark for Bruckmann Heilbronn, and the city marks for Augsburg, the Pyr, a striding lion, and a portrait head in the centre of the reverse side.
