In 1865 Mr. Bisbee was elected states attorney of Orleans county,where he lived, and was re-elected in 1867, but soon resigned toaccept the position of deputy collector of customs, which office hefilled until i86g, when he was elected to the legislature. He wasre-elected in 1S70. He was an active and prominent member of.
