Peeking out from the branches. LANCASHIRE, UK: CUDDLIEST IMAGES of fluff-ball owls peeking out from the trees have been captured in Lancashire, photographer captured the cutest images of around five Long Eared owl chicks ranging from a tiny eight to 12-inches in height. The cute baby owls were estimated to be around three-weeks old and weighed less than one-pound. Engineering machine shop team leader Neil Brailsford (54) from Newbury , Berkshire, UK captured images of these fluffy owls in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire, UK. Neil captured images of the cutest Long Eared owl chicks amongst the trees using a Canon R7 with Canon EF500mm f4 mk2 and extender. After hearing from others that there were sightings of Long Eared owl chicks amongst the Forest of Bowland, Neil made his way to the area where he immediately heard the unmistakable chirp of the chicks calling for food from their mother. ?It was annual photography week up north and I heard about these on the grapevine about them, so I went to the area and heard the chicks unmistakable call for food,? he said. ?I narrowed down where they were, saw adults hunting and taking food back to their young. ?So I sat quietly and enjoyed watching the interaction between adults and young. ?I would guess they were about three weeks old. ?It was great seeing these elusive chicks in the wild, miles from any towns, thriving and seeing the parents so effectively hunting for their growing ENDS mediadrumimages/Neil Brailsford
