Antennal peduncle as in M. robusta. Antennal scaleabout four tinies as longas broad, exceeding by about one-third of ifs length the extremity of the antennal peduncle; external margin slightly curved, its distal half coarsely denticulate with about four teeth rather widely separate; terminal spiue of moderate sizc; apex obtusely rouniied, extending slightly beyond the terniinai spine. Setae strong. Endopodite of second thoracic linib somewhat shorter, proportionally, than in M. robusta; merus slightly longer than carpus, and bearing only a few setae, on its inner edge; carpus moderately, propodus and dactylus Flg. 172.
