Communication was by telephone—morefor training than anything else, as the gunnerscould all hear the original data. The old days ofaiming point-lone tree on right front were forgottenand we used aiming stakes, and the now well knownY azimuth. The swazant cans proved an easy gun to handleand a very accurate shooter.
