One of the most beaxitiful and valuable of small-sized trees. Japan Blood-Leaved—Of dwarf habit and rounded form; foliage five-lobed and serrated; reddish crimson in June. The leaves are of a beautiful rose color when young, and change to a deep and constant purple, as they become older.
