First World War memorial plaque and flagstone dedication to L/cpl Charles Robertson VC and the Rev Theodore Bayley Hardy VC, DSO, MC at High Bentham is a small town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Both men had association with Bentham, Charles Robertson was born in Low Bentham and the Rev Theodore Bayley Hardy was the Headmaster at the Bentham Grammar School.
