Homeless military veterans receive medical care, clothing and grooming at the 16th biannual Stand Down event hosted by Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans. The Department of Housing and Urban Development estimated in January of 2014 that 49,933 American military veterans are homeless. Volunteer at the event, Lindsey Morgan, walks with her service dog, Jordan. Morgan, a Army veteran who served in Iraq, is afflicted with post traumatic stress disorder. Her service dog, Jordan, provides support.
