He was medical director of the ^EtnaLife Insurance Co., a position he held for years,and for many years was also medical examiner ofsame. He had also many financial connections withHartford institutions. Dr. Campbell was also a prominent member ofthe Hartford Club, having taken a great interest inthat organization. He was a thirty-second-degreeMason, being a member of LaFayette Lodge: alsobelonged to Crescent Lodge, Knights of Pythias;to the lodge of Odd Fellows; to the Sons of theAmerican Revolution; and to the Church Club ofthe Episcopal diocese. The Doctor was a man of generous impulses.
