Fresco from a tomb, depicting two men. The tomb would have belonged to a knight and dates back to the fourth century BC. It is located inside a Samnite cemetery in the town of Sarno, Campania, in southern Italy. The Samnites were a group of Sabellic tribes that controlled the area from about 600 BC until 290 BC. More than thirty tombs have been excavated at this site, known as Galitta del Capitano.
