The verditer flycatcher (Eumyias thalassinus) is an Old World flycatcher. It is found in lowland and hill forests and forest edges from the Himalayas through Southeast Asia to Sumatra. This bird is a beautifully vivid turquoise-blue flycatcher. The adult male has dark lore. Juvenile is duller, with noticeably greyer underparts.  A wild Juvenile Verditer Flycatcher sitting on the electric wire beside a dense hilly forest in the early morning in Mangpoo, West Bengal, India.
