A Royal House Order of Hohenzollern,silver Merit Cross with Crown,from 1941. Silver,the medallion ring and appliqués separately affixed,movable hinged crown. Included is the reddish brown award presentation case with crowned silver imprint " mit Krone",with dark red velvet furnishings. Until now never offered for sale,extremely rare. Published in "Deutsche Orden und Ehrenzeichen",Nr. 1338(no known bestowals). The statutes of 1941,however,specifically mention this class under Lfd.
