FORT IRWIN, Calif. – A Soldier from Easy Troop, 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment fires at dismounted forces of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division as they approach the small town of Nabran in the National Training Center, Feb. 18, 2017. The 2/1 ABCT’s assault marked the first engagement of NTC’s Rotation 17-04, and served as a training exercise to test their experience in close quarter combat and capturing urban objectives.
