One Park West in central Liverpool was designed by Argentinian architect César Pelli of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, best known for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The building forms part of the Liverpool One city centre redevelopment and was topped out in 2008. In 2009 it was nominated for the Carbuncle Cup - awarded annually for the worst new building in the UK.
