In the arena of Vic-Fezensac (Gers 32 - France), a lancer (picador in Spanish) photographed from behind, is waiting for the charge of the bull. The lancer, mounted on a heavily armoured and blindfolded horse, has to stab the bull with his lance to weaken it. Picador de dos, en attente de la charge du taureau, dans les arênes de Vic-Fezensac (Gers 32 - France). Le picador, monté sur un cheval fortement protégé et aux yeux bandés, est chargé de tester et d'affaiblir le taureau en le "châtiant".
