The image was published with a caption, in macaronic language, poking fun at the Greek difficulties in pronouncing Romanian: Zito Gheorghios protos, regele nostru ! S pufteasc rumânii la rzboi, dac le d muna : noi suntemo gata ! ('Zito Georgios protos [i. e. long live George the first], our king! Let's see if de Rumunians are really ready to do war: we sure are ready!').
