Heroes of the Nations A Series of biographical studies of the lives andwork of a number of representative historical char-acters about whom have gathered the great traditionsof the Nations to which they belonged, and who havebeen accepted, in many instances, as types of theseveral National ideals. With the life of each typicalcharacter is presented a picture of the National con-ditions surrounding him during his career.
