Old abandoned millstone in the peakdistrict Derbyshire England
Millstones which were carved in situe on the Derbyhire moors in the 19th century and before. They were used for grinig corn or wheat often for cattle food. They were brought dowmn from the moors to be used as required. Many remain in palce.
