Hundreds of Tamils marched in protest against Sri Lanka assuming the leadership of the Commonwealth during the forthcoming CHOGM conference which the island state will be hosting. They accuse the government of ongoing human rights abuses and genocide against Tamils following the decades long civil war. They demand that Sri Lanka is expelled from the organisation and warned the British Prime Minister David Cameron of reputational damage should he attend the conference.
