A UH-N1 Huey from the 40th Helicopter Squadron makes its way to the location of an injured hiker during a search and rescue exercise May 24, 2022, over the Highwood Mountains near Great Falls, Mont. The exercise was conducted to test the squadron’s ability to locate and rescue an injured hiker. The 40th HS is often called upon to perform SAR missions on missing or injured people.
