Close-up of the Harvest Full Moon.

The full moon of September 5, 2017, the Harvest Moon. The view nicely shows the rays structures from Tycho and Copernicus, and other relatively new craters, and the bright region around Aristarchus at upper left. You can still see the difference in darkness among the various lunar mare areas, due to the compositions of the lava flows that created them.
