Moonlight on the Yangtze River. 'First Bend of the Yangtze River' at Shigu, Yunnan, China. This is where the river meets the Hengduan mountains, and is forced to turn nearly 180 degrees. In the moonlit night sky are stars from constellations and groupings such as Cassiopeia (upper left), Polaris (North Star, upper centre), and the Big Dipper (upper right).
