The Marines Corps exists 299 years and traditionally the Corporation Birthday with curses starts at Crooswijk cemetery and on Oostplein. After ceremonies, a joint meal in the Van Ghentkazerne (VGKAZ) follows the Approach in Rotterdam, whereby the commander of the Marine Corps (ckmarns) holds a speech.
