The penial setae (fig. 6) are one per bundle, mm. long, and 15^ in diameter at the middle of the shaft. The shaft is very slightly bowed, the proximal end bent through the quadrant of a circle, somewhat like a hockey club; the tip is bluntly pointed and slightly hooked; there may be a few very faint undula- tions on the distal third or half of the shaft, which however may be almost indistinguish- able.
