Templeton Woods, with its April showers and moist terrain, creates an unsettling mood that is suitable for horror film scenes. The woods remain well-known for the infamous criminal acts in 1979 and 1980. At the time, the city was plagued by a serial killer, therefore the two cases became known as the Templeton Woods murders.
