London visitor sights Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner


Commissioned by George IV, Wellington Arch monument was designed by architect Decimus Burdon. It depicts the Angel of Peace descending onto the Chariot of War, statue was moved to this site in 1882. During it's history it has been used as London's smallest Police station.
