After the Mass, hundreds of people line up outside the Basilica of Guadalupe to be able to venerate Pope John Paul II's relics.

Relics of the recently beatified Pope John Paul II are on a tour of Mexico. A sample of the late Pope's blood, sealed in a vial atop a reposed wax effigy, will visit all of the country's 91 Catholic diocese during the next four months. The relics were received with a Mass at the Basilica of Guadalupe celebrated by Cardinal Norberto Rivera, the Primate, and Archbishop of Mexico. After the Mass, hundreds of people line up outside the Basilica to be able to venerate the late Pontiff's relics.
