In the Lao Cai province of north Vietnam near the border with Yunnan province in China there are many ethnic minority groups. The best place to see them are the local markets that rotate between different towns depending on the day of the week. Tuesdays are the day for the Coc Ly market, north of Sa Pa where you can see Flower Hmong (Red Hmong), Black Dao, Nung, Giay and Tay peoples.
