On December 15, 1905, Mr. Clark was pro-moted to Assistant Engineer of the Middle andWestern Divisions, Philadelphia and Erie Rail-road. He was subsequently transferred to thesame position on the West Jersey and SeashoreRailroad, thence to the Maryland Division of thePhiladelphia, Baltimore and Washington Rail-road, as Assistant Engineer. Mr. Clark, on January 15, 1910, was advancedto Principal Assistant Engineer of the Philadel-phia, Baltimore and Washington Railroad, andon June 16, 1913, he was made Assistant Engi-neer of Maintenance of Way in Charge ofRoadway and Track. On September 28, 1916, Mr. Clark was pro-moted to the position of Superintendent of theRenovo CARL H. NIEMEYER CARL H. He attended the public schools andin 1891 was graduated from Cornell University. Mr. Niemeyer entered the service of the Penn-sylvania Railroad System as Draughtsman in theoffice of the Division Engineer, Eastern and Sus-quehanna Division of the Philadelphia and Erieand Northern Central Railway, in January,1892. On April 1, 1894, he was appointed Assist-ant Supervisor at Millersburg, Pa., and subse-quently served at St. Marys, Lewistown and Har-risburg.
