In his political views Mr. Simon is an earnest democrat and has always been active incommunity affairs. He helped organize the village and has served for some time on theschool board of Tioga. His religious faith is that of the Lutheran church, to the teachings. NELS W. He is likewise a chartermember of the Elks lodge at Williston and has filled all of the ptiices in the Jlodern Woodmencamp at Tioga and is connected with the Ancient Order of United Workmen. His life hasbeen well spent and has been fruitful of good results. He has been both the architect andbuilder of his own fortunes and he has builded wisely and well, placing his dependenceupon the substantial qualities of energy, determination and enterprise, and through theutilization of those qualities has gained notable success.
